Adam ZM is a photographer and art director based in Paris, with Congolese roots that run through everything he makes. His work explores the connections between fashion, intimacy and cinematic storytelling, spaces where shadow and light become the true accessories.

Through sculptural lighting, deep textures and a close attention to the body, he builds visual narratives where clothing, emotions and atmosphere speak the same language. Inspired by cinema and analogue photography, his images move between reality and fiction, carried by a constant tension between elegance and raw emotion. Deeply rooted in his own history, his work places Black women at the centre of his visual universe, celebrating their presence, beauty and complexity with intimacy and conviction.

Each project is conceived as a complete visual experience, where light, colour, set design and body language respond to one another to create singular, lasting atmospheres.
